oh where have i been ..?

WOW ..i have been terrible with blogging the past couple months!  i need to get in gear and get typing ..more than once a month! yikes .. well i guess here is the post for may ..haha!

curt and i have been busy doing the usual ..school and work.  curt will be graduating after summer semester and i am so excited for him! he's pretty stoked too ..what a great feeling to be done with his bachelors ..yay!  i unfortunately have decided to go back to school next fall ..i don't HAVE to but i'm gonna finish up my bachelors in nursing ..it doesn't do much for ya here in utah to have a BSN but it does if you work out of state ..which who knows if i'll ever be doing that so i'm gonna get on the ball and finish soon ..hopefully!

so how about the weather .. well it sucks!  one day it was nice so i decided to plant some flowers a few different places in our front yard ...

i know pretty much nothing about flowers and gardening but i learned that lots of rain storms ruin flowers .. :( a couple days after they got planted the weather decided to storm and rain and storm some more and now there aren't pretty flowers in my flower beds ..they look pretty bad.  oh well .. it was fun while it lasted.

a couple days ago when it was nice and sunny outside we took our dogs out in our front yard and got to just relax in the sun ..it was amazing and SO warm.  i even got sunburned ..crazy!  i can't wait for summer ..our pool opens this weekend so the weather better start behaving and acting like summer so we can hit up the pool every day .. here are some pictures .. there is one of hardy in a tree ..he wants to be a cat and climb trees.  he just sits under a tree and barks and jumps trying to get the branches ..its pretty funny! i have some video i will try and post! 

i am officially obsessed with LUSH cosmetics .. products are handmade ..fresh ..no preservatives ..vegan ..just amazing!  a couple summers ago i bought some products from them in hawaii ..they don't have any stores here in utah ..lame! closest one is vegas .. but anyways so i bought some stuff from them ..used it and kind of forgot about it ..then a girl i work with started talking about it and totally reminded me about their amazing products ..and my loving relationship with LUSH is back! i have ordered tons of stuff and every day i am checking for a new package ..you should all check them out here!  i absolutely love everything i have tried ..

well last but not least ..today we went to curt's uncle ted's funeral ..he had ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease and passed away peacefully sunday surrounded by family.  the funeral was amazing ..he has been battling with this disease since 2003.  he was such an inspiring person ..i learned so much about him today and he lived every day to its fullest.  he was grateful for everything in life ..especially nature and god's creations.  he will be missed but his memories and example will live on ..we love you ted!

wow ..thats quite a random update!  hopefully i post something before the end of june ..which speaking of june ..today my sister and i booked flights to hawaii!  we are going out there with my sister in laws and we are so excited ..beach here we come!
